The Department of Energy Engineering at Hanyang University has an immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Associate studying the graphene and its application in energy, Li-ion battery and Dye Sensitized Solar Cell. The position is designed to promote international collaboration between Nano-Energy Laboratory at Hanyang University, Korea and Nanomaterials & Device Laboratory at Florida International University, USA. The researcher in this position may have chance to work in both laboratories. A curriculum vitae (including contact information for three reference personnel) should be sent to choiw@fiu.edu.
Graphene synthesis and characterization
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in one of these fields: Chemistry, Materials Science & Engineering, Physics, and Electrical Engineering. Prior thesis experience or knowledge of graphene, plasma CVD, and electrical and optical characterization. The project involves sysnthesis of graphene with semiconducting behavior, synthesis of large scale graphene, device fabrication of graphene-FET, electrical characterization, optical characterization. Hands-on experience in the above areas and publication record is strongly preferred. |
Nano Energy (Dye Sensitized Solar Cell, Li-ion battery)
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in one of these areas: Chemical Engineering, Electrical engineering, Physics, Material science. Project involves development of efficient Li-ion battery based on nanomaterials and high efficient DSSC based on nanomaterials and processing. Specific activities include design, fabrication and characterization of Li-ion battery and DSSC, and characterization of device. Experience in device fabrication and characterization, and related areas are preferred. |

연중 미국 Florida International University에 1/3정도 체류하며 연구가 가능하며, 석사 연구원의 경우, 본인의 영어성적이 가능할 경우, 미국 대학으로의 진학도 가능합니다.
