Haedong Academic Information Center

Introduction

Haedong Academic Information Center
The Haedong Academic Information Center of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering was established in 2002 with support from Mr. Jung-Sik Kim (Chairman of Daeduck Electronics Co., Ltd., a graduate of the Department of Electrical Engineering) and Mr. Young-Jae Kim (CEO, a graduate of the Department of Industrial Chemistry, Class of 35).
In 2006, the center was expanded to include an e-Library. In 2022, with a generous donation from Mr. Lee Sub Dong (Chairman of Dongjin Semichem, a graduate of Chemical Engineering), state-of-the-art computers were installed in Room 211, enabling coursework related to chemical engineering simulations and artificial intelligence.

In February 2025, the center underwent a significant renovation of Room 210, improving its functionality and aesthetics. In addition, new group study rooms were installed in Room 216 to enhance student lounge and study areas, providing a more efficient space for students to relax and collaborate.
