In an era defined by global connectivity and rapid technological advancement, the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Seoul National University stands at the forefront of innovation, leading the chemical and biological engineering industries both in Korea and around the world. It is a great honor for me to have the opportunity to serve, for the coming year, as the representative of our undergraduate students who possess boundless potential.

The Student Council is committed to listening attentively to the voices of our students and to becoming an organization that brings about meaningful and tangible change. We will actively collect students’ concerns and suggestions, communicate closely with faculty members and the administrative office, and work diligently to implement improvements. In addition, through various events such as the General MT and Happy Hour gatherings, we aim to strengthen connections and solidarity among members of our department and to create open spaces for communication where everyone can grow together.

I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to our 35 dedicated full-time faculty members and 17 staff members, whose unwavering commitment enables our department to continue its pursuit of excellence and global leadership. As Student Council President, I will do my utmost to contribute to the continued development and proud legacy of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering.
